Hobart and William Smith Colleges will host both the men’s and women’s Liberty League Soccer Championships on Sat., Nov. 7, on Cozzens Field. The top-seeded Herons will host third-seeded Hamilton (9-5-1) at 11 a.m., followed by the second-seeded Statesmen taking on No. 4 Union (11-5-2) at 1:30 p.m.
William Smith holds a 12-3-2 overall record and is the ninth-ranked team in the nation. The Herons earned their third straight Liberty League regular season title, posting an unbeaten 5-0-2 conference mark, and will try for their third consecutive conference title on Saturday. William Smith advanced to the championship game after downing Union 2-0 on Wednesday. Junior

The Herons and Continentals last met on Oct. 3 in Clinton, where William Smith posted a thrilling 1-0 double-overtime victory. Nasypany tallied the unassisted game-winner with 38 seconds remaining in the match.
Hobart owns a 13-3-2 overall record, and finished the regular season second in the Liberty League standings (5-2-0). The Statesmen earned a spot in the championship match by defeating Hamilton 1-0 on Tuesday. Sophomore
