Six members of the Hobart College soccer team were voted to the All-Liberty League teams, after leading the Statesmen to a 13-3-2 overall record and a second place finish in the Liberty League regular season standings. Sophomore forward

Michael Moulton were voted honorable mention.
Hayes shares the team lead in points with 13. He tallied four goals and five assists on the season, and netted the game-winner in a 3-0 win at Ithaca. Hayes assisted on two game-winning goals; in a 2-1 win at Union and a 2-1 win vs. Hamilton. He also posted a six-point performance with two goals and two assists in a victory at Nazareth, which tied the program record for points in a game. Hayes ranks fifth in the Liberty League in assists, and was tabbed the Liberty League’s Offensive Performer of the Week once.
Grey has started every game for the past two seasons for the Statesmen. A strong all-around player, he ranks sixth on the team with three goals and two assists this fall. Grey netted the game-winner in a 3-2 double-overtime win at Clarkson, and also tallied in wins over RIT and Hamilton. He earned a spot on the All-Liberty League second team in 2008.
Geswell has anchored a Statesmen defense that has allowed 16 goals, with just five of those allowed against non-conference opponents. Hobart ranks third in the Liberty League in points allowed per game (2.50), goals allowed, and goals allowed per game (0.89), and ranks second in shutouts (9). Geswell has also contributed to the offense with two assists. Both were on long throw-ins from the sideline. He was also named to the 2009 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Second Team.
Hale has started every game in goal for the Statesmen, posting a 13-3-2 record and an .824 save percentage. He shares the Liberty League lead in shutouts (9), ranks second in saves (75), and is fifth in goals against average (0.85). Hale collected a career-high nine saves in Hobart’s 4-3 victory at St. Lawrence. He was named the Liberty League's Defensive Performer of the Week and the ECAC Upstate Defensive Player of the Week once.
Kittelberger has played in 16 games for the Statesmen, starting four. He shares the team lead with five goals, including the game-winner in a 1-0 win over Vassar. Kittelberger also scored vs. Brockport, Fredonia, Ithaca, and Oneonta. He was tabbed the league’s Rookie of the Week twice.
Moulton has started all 18 games this fall and ranks third on the team in points (11). He’s totaled four goals, including three game-winners, and three assists. Moulton scored the game-winning goal in a 3-0 win against RIT, a 1-0 overtime victory vs. Medaille, and a 2-1 win over Hamilton. He also assisted on the game-winner in a 1-0 double-overtime win against Vassar. Moulton ranks second in the Liberty League in game-winning goals.
The second-seeded Statesmen will host fourth-seeded Union (11-5-2) in the Liberty League Tournament Championship on Nov. 7 at 1:30 p.m. Hobart prevailed 2-1 in Schenectady back on Oct. 25, after Hayes set up first-year
Taylor Jones for the game-winner.
