The Hobart lacrosse team will head to Baltimore for its final ECAC Lacrosse League game of the season. The Statesmen will square off with defending conference champion Loyola on Sat., April 25. The opening faceoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.

Hobart (7-5, 2-4) has won two in a row following Tuesday night's 17-6 throttling of Canisius on McCooey Field. Junior  Kevin Curtin and first-year Chris Pedersen led the attack against the Golden Griffins with five points apiece.

Senior Jeff Colburn boasts a team-high 34 points (16g, 18a), while junior Max Silberlicht backstops a stingy defense. He is second in the conference in goals against average (7.23) and third in save percentage (.631).

Loyola (8-4, 5-1) has won three in a row and is ranked 14th in the nation. Junior attackman Cooper MacDonnell and senior attackman Shane Koppens share the team lead with 34 points apiece. MacDonnell sports a team-high 28 goals, while Koppens is the play-maker with 14 assists. Sophomore goalie Jake Hagelin is 6-3 this season with a 7.87 GAA and a .537 save percentage.

Hobart won last season's showdown 10-6 in Geneva, but the Greyhounds hold the all-time series lead 8-3.
