The Hobart College basketball team conducted a clinic for second graders at Skoi-Yase Elementary School on Jan. 6, 2010, marking the sixth year the Statesmen have visited the Waterloo school.

“This is something our coaches and players look forward to each winter,” said Head Coach Izzi Metz '98. “It's a very rewarding opportunity for our players to give back to our community.”

The clinic was conducted by the Hobart basketball players, with guidance from the coaching staff. Using games and drills, the Statesmen taught the children fundamentals of the sport, including passing, dribbling, shooting, and defense.
