GENEVA, N.Y.—Hobart senior Sean Kluber will intern in the Hobart and William Smith Athletic Communications office during the 2010 spring semester. A media and society major, Kluber will assist in the publicity of the Colleges’ 22 varsity sports.

Kluber is an offensive lineman and long snapper for the Statesmen football team, earning two varsity letters over his career. A versatile player, Kluber has seen significant playing time at all five of the offensive line positions, while starting three contests at right tackle this past season.

A member of the 2009 Liberty League All-Academic Team, Kluber will return in 2010 for one last season as a graduate student. He takes his academics just as serious as his athletics. Kluber hopes to use this internship to gain experience for a future career in athletic communications.

During his time as in intern, Kluber will assist with the maintenance of the Hobart and William Smith athletic Web site, as well as writing student-athlete profiles, producing highlight videos, and assisting with game day operations.

DiPalma served as the coxswain for the William Smith varsity eight that finished second in the petite final at the ECAC Championships on Sunday. Facing the toughest defense in the nation, Curtin posted his third consecutive hat trick. He completed his collegiate career with a three-goal performance at Bryant on Thursday. The Bulldogs came into the contest allowing just 6.44 goals per game, but the Statesmen netted nine goals, the second highest total against Bryant this season. Curtin capped his career 11th in career goals and career points and 12th in career assists.
