Ashlinn Barber was named to the 2010
D3hoops.com All-East Region second team. The Liberty League's leading rebounder is just the fifth Heron to earn All-Region recognition from D3hoops.com.
Barber played in all 24 games this season, starting 20. She averaged 12.6 ppg, 9.8 rpg, and 1.1 spg. Barber's 236 rebounds this year are sixth on William Smith's single season list, while her rebounding average is the highest by a Heron since
Jennifer Goodell '97 collected caroms at a 10.4 clip in 1996-97.
In addition to leading the League in rebounding, Barber also ranked ninth in scoring and field goal percentage (.425). The second team All-Liberty League pick produced eight double doubles this season. Barber scored a season-high 26 points and grabbed 16 rebounds in a home win over Clarkson. She grabbed a season-high 17 rebounds to go with 14 points at home against Skidmore. Barber was named the Liberty League Forward of the Week five times this season.
