William Smith College first-year Kathleen Ragan was named the Liberty League Women's Lacrosse Co-Rookie of the Week today by the conference office. Last week, the Herons posted a 14-13 upset over eighth-ranked Cortland, before falling to third-ranked Hamilton 18-7.

A midfielder, Ragan netted four goals for William Smith. She scored twice vs. the Red Dragons on Wednesday, and added two more goals against the Continentals on Saturday. Ragan also recorded five ground balls, three draws, and a caused turnover on the week.

Ragan has recorded six goals, an assist, 13 ground balls, six draws, and two caused turnovers in 10 games this season.

The Herons (6-5) will travel to Ithaca (8-4) for a non-league contest tomorrow, April 20, at 4:30 p.m. Fans unable to attend can listen live on WHWS-FM (105.7) or follow along online with Live Stats.
