Hobart College Athletics, spearheaded by seniors Tim Ivory and Angelo Catalano, and juniors Michael Barlow and Danny Organ, organized three events this academic year to raise money and awareness for the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP), a non-profit organization committed to supporting severely injured U.S. military personnel upon their return home from service in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other areas around the world.

The football and basketball teams both wore camouflage uniforms for one contest during their respective seasons. The teams auctioned off the camouflage jerseys, sold WWP/Hobart Athletics apparel, and held raffles during the contests. Additionally, the hockey team sold WWP/Hobart hockey sweatshirts. All tolled, the Statesmen raised more than $10,000 for the WWP.
