William Smith sophomore Kiara Ocasio was named Liberty League Women's Tennis Co-Performer of the Week as announced by the conference office this afternoon.

Ocasio posted a 2-0 record on Sunday in the Herons' match against Simpson. William Smith opened its spring break trip to Orlando, Fla., with a 9-0 win over the Storm. Ocasio teamed up with junior Joanie Hilton to earn an 8-2 win at the top doubles spot. She also recorded a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 3 singles.

The Herons earned their fourth win of the season with a 9-0 win over Puget Sound this morning. Ocasio picked up a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 3 singles, and paired with Hilton for an 8-4 victory at No.1 doubles. She improved her season singles record to 5-0 at the No. 3 spot. Ocasio also has teamed with Hilton to record a 3-1 doubles record in dual matches this year.

The Herons return to action on Wednesday, March 16 when they take on Dickinson for the third match of their spring break trip at 12:30 p.m.
