Hobart first-year attackman Cam Stone was named the ECAC Lacrosse League Rookie of the Week by the conference office today.

Stone recorded his first career hat trick on Saturday against Loyola's 16th-ranked defense. His first tally of the day was man-up (the Greyhounds ranked 11th in the nation in man-down defense) and gave Hobart a 1-0 first quarter lead.

Loyola, ranked 20th in the nation in last week's coaches poll, broke an 8-8 tie with three unanswered goals to hold off the upset-minded Statesmen.

Stone is tied for sixth on the team with 11 points on seven goals and four assists.

Hobart (5-8, 2-3) will close out the season on Saturday, April 30, when the Statesmen visit Air Force (5-7, 2-3). Faceoff in Colorado Springs is scheduled for noon (2 p.m. ET).
