William Smith junior Joanie Hilton was named the Liberty League Women's Tennis Performer of the Week as announced by the conference office this afternoon. She helped the Herons to a 7-2 win over Ithaca on Saturday.

Hilton paired up with sophomore Kiara Ocasio to pick up an 8-3 win at the top doubles spot. At No. 4 singles, Hilton cruised to a 6-2, 6-2 victory over the Bombers' Kelsey Harness. Hilton is now 20-5 in singles play, and together with Ocasio has recorded an 11-8 doubles record.

William Smith will be back in action May 7-8, when the Herons host the Liberty League Tournament.
