For the second year in a row, the William Smith College rowing team's varsity eight earned a spot on the podium at the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston. The Herons turned in a third place showing in the collegiate eights to bring home a bronze medal to go with last season's silver medal.
"I am really pleased with today's results," Head Coach
Sandra Chu said. "The boat is on a fantastic trajectory right now--they improve every practice, commit to the many small ways to choose speed in their lives away from the boathouse, and exhibit exceptional character every day."
