Five members of the William Smith College swimming and diving team earned a spot on the 2013-14 Liberty League All-Academic team.
To be eligible for All-Academic honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.2. The following Herons were named to the team:
- Brooke Adams, So., Geoscience
- Danielle Bagwin, Jr., Architectural Studies
- Cece Carsky-Bush, So., Undeclared
- Kate Mendez, So., Biology
- Sally Storch, Sr., International Relations & Asian Studies
Storch is making her third straight appearance on the team. Adams, Carsky-Bush, Mendez and Storch also earned a spot on the 2013-14 Upper New York State Collegiate Swimming Association All-Academic Team.
The Herons completed the 2013-14 season with an 8-3 record in dual meets. William Smith placed eighth in the Liberty League Championships and finished 11th at the UNYSCSA Championships.
