Eight members of the Hobart College soccer team earned a spot on the Liberty League All-Academic team this year.
To be eligible for all-academic honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.3 through the end of the 2016 spring semester.

This is the third year in a row that Busuttil has earned a spot on the all-academic squad. It's the second year in a row Escamilla, Poretz, and Weiss have collected all-academic honors.
Hobart finished the year with a 9-5-4 overall record and a 6-1-1 mark in Liberty League play. The Statesmen captured their first Liberty League regular season title since 2008. Hobart had 10 matches to go overtime this year, just one shy of the NCAA season record. The Statesmen were 6-0-4 in those overtime games.
