Morrison averaged a double-double (22.3 ppg, 12.0 rpg) in a 2-1 week for the Herons. In Tuesday's 69-53 win over RPI, she logged a game-high 19 points and grabbed seven boards. Against St. Lawrence on Friday, she scored a game-high 20 points and collected a team-high nine rebounds to go with two assists and two steals in a 61-48 loss. Morrison closed out the week with a monster effort in William Smith's 94-83 overtime victory against Clarkson. The Herons found themselves in a 19-point hole in the first half, but led by Morrison's game-high 28 points and career-high 20 rebounds, rallied to win. She scored eight of the Herons' 17 points in overtime. For the week, Morrison shot 50 percent from the floor, 33.3 percent from 3-point range, and 77.4 percent at the free throw line.

In 21 games this season, Morrison is averaging 18.2 ppg, 9.3 rpg, 1.6 spg, 1.1 apg and 1.0 bpg. She's shooting .456 from the floor and .765 at the line. Morrison is second in the Liberty League in scoring and rebounding, fourth in field goal percentage, and fifth in free throw percentage and blocked shots per game.

Morrison has made 101 free throws this season, just the fourth Heron to make 100 or more in a campaign. She's 37 away from the record set by Laura Hadwin '03 in 2002-03. Morrison's 382 points this season are 16th on William Smith's single season list. Only four Herons have scored 400 or more points in a season.

Gamboa was second on the team in scoring, rebounding and assists last week. Against the Engineers, she made a strong bid for a triple-double, finishing with 11 points, a game-high nine rebounds and a game-high six assists. Against Clarkson, Gamboa produced a season-high 19 points and three assists, helping the Herons stage their biggest comeback since overcoming a 20-point deficit to beat Emerson 86-80 on Dec. 5, 2009. On Saturday, William Smith trailed for most of regulation, including a 41-22 deficit late in the first half, but took its first lead of the game on Gamboa's 3-pointer with 18 seconds remaining in regulation. In overtime, she was 4-of-6 at the free throw line as the Herons outscored the Golden Knights 17-6.

Gamboa has played in 20 games, starting seven. She's averaging 6.9 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 2.4 apg and 1.2 spg. Gamboa is shooting .331 from the floor, .280 from 3-point range and .700 at the free throw line.

With four games remaining in the regular season, William Smith is 12-9 overall and 6-8 in the Liberty League. The Herons are currently tied with Rensselaer for the sixth and final spot in the Liberty League Championship Tournament.
