The Dr. Bob Ford '54 Basketball Team Room
Located in Bristol Gymnasium, The Dr. Bob Ford '54 Basketball Team Room is the off-court home of the Hobart basketball team. In addition to spacious, hand-crafted wooden lockers, the room also features a large screen television and a premier audio system.
The revitalized room is named for Dr. Robert E. Ford '54. A former Hobart basketball player, Ford helped the Statesmen to a 35-27 record during his career, including a then school record 12 wins in his senior season. In addition to the room that bears his name, Ford and his team mate Dr. Kent H. Butler '54 have endowed the Ford-Butler Basketball Award and the Butler-Ford Basketball Award, presented annually at the Block H Banquet.
