John H. Cozzens Jr. '41 Memorial Field
Home of the Hobart and William Smith soccer teams, John H. Cozzens, Jr. '41 Memorial Field is one of the finest full-length, natural grass pitches in the Northeast. Cozzens Memorial Field was built during the summer of 2001 through a thoughtful bequest from John H. Cozzens, Jr. Cozzens Memorial Field was officially dedicated on October 20, 2001.
The field honors the life of John H. Cozzens, Jr., a 1941 graduate of Hobart College. Cozzens played football, basketball, and lacrosse during his academic career. He lettered in football in 1939 and 1940, serving as team captain during his senior year.
