The William Smith rowing team remains No. 12 in this week's USRowing/CRCA Coaches' poll and will travel to Worcester, Mass., for a weekend of racing at No. 9 WPI.
Â
"This weekend's racing comes at a great time for us," said Head Coach
Sandra Chu. "We've been working hard not only in our training plan but also in terms of our racing execution. The team has definitely earned its improvements by wrestling with the practice challenges. Racing three times will give us opportunities to continue with that growth and demonstrate what we've learned this week. We've also been working around some injuries and while it is disappointing to not be able to boat our full squad, I'm really proud of everyone for stepping up and continuing to work hard towards the race opportunities coming up in the next couple of weeks."
