Hobart graduate Nick DeCroo ’10 recently re-signed with the Central Hockey League’s
Quad City Mallards. The Sarver, Pa., native played for the Mallards during spring break this year before returning to campus to complete his degree.

Six members of the Hobart College hockey team were recognized by the Statesmen Athletic Association and the Hobart Athletics Department at the annual Block H Awards Dinner on May 3. Junior forward Matthew Wallace was honored with the Boswell Award as the team’s most valuable player.
05.10 | Hobart Football, Hobart Basketball, Hobart Ice Hockey
Hobart College Athletics, spearheaded by seniors Tim Ivory and Angelo Catalano, and juniors Michael Barlow and Danny Organ, organized three events this academic year to raise money and awareness for the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP), a non-profit organization committed to supporting severely injured U.S. military personnel upon their return home from service in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other areas around the world.

Fifteen members of the Hobart College hockey team earned a spot on the 2009-10 ECAC West All-Academic Team, more than any other ECAC West team. This is the ninth year the league has named an all-academic team; 17 Statesmen were honored last year.
