Fifteen members of the Hobart College hockey team earned a spot on the 2009-10 ECAC West All-Academic Team, more than any other ECAC West team. This is the ninth year the league has named an all-academic team; 17 Statesmen were honored last year.
To earn a spot on the all-academic squad, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year and have a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.0. The following Statesmen were name to the 2009-10 ECAC West All-Academic Team:

The Hobart hockey team wrapped its eighth straight winning season with a 13-10-3 overall record. After posting a 9-4-2 mark in the ECAC West, the Statesmen finished third in the league's regular season standings.
